Chief stick collector, trampler of beds, finder of tennis balls and all round good egg.
Simon has been gardening at Ferns Lodge ever since I moved in and has helped to restore the house before starting on the garden. The purchase of the wild garden 5 years ago was something that he took in his stride and he is core to ‘Mission Ferns Lodge’.
Near neighbour, Barbara is a keen gardener and really knows her stuff. Her help with cuttings, identifying plants and generally always being there for advice and help has been mission critical.
Julie is the amazing, works at a hundred miles hour, housekeeper for the Mews. It is she who ensures that it is spick and span and she has a zero tolerance to anything resembling dust or grime. She also loves ironing! Julie lives in the village and is often in the garden and is one of Ghillie’s favourite people…
Official photographer – Sarah is a very talented photographer and her knowledge of wildlife has stopped us going wrong. Her patience in waiting to see badgers, foxes, bats and the rest is awesome.
