Lymington is a charming Georgian town, just a short hop from Ferns Lodge. At the top of the high street, you will find a higgledy-piggledy collection of shops and homes around a couple of courtyards called the Roundhouse. Once within its walls, the hustle and bustle of the town is left behind. I fell in love with 2 Roundhouse Mews as soon as I saw it, and in 2019, it underwent a total refurbishment from roof to floor for holiday letting. The upgrades have continued, with new paint and lovely additions in 2024.

The key to the magic of the Mews is Julie, its fabulous housekeeper, and Simon, Julie’s other half, who will manage your booking. They take excellent care of it and ensure that it is always at 110% for every guest’s stay. You can find more about Julie in the Ferns Lodge team section. She is available to provide a change of linen if needed during your stay, and upon your arrival, you will discover a lovely hamper for you to enjoy. Simon is available to assist with any queries and is a wealth of local knowledge.
Speaking of knowledge, we have compiled ‘the Mews Knowledge’ of all the lovely things you can see, do, eat, and drink. It’s a fantastic place for a break. Lymington Town Station is just a brisk walk away (downhill!), which means that 2 Roundhouse is only approximately 2 hours from London. You will find this information in the sitting room.
